Meet The Team
Moses Marimo, Head of Development
A holder of a BSc in Computer Science from the National University of
Science and Technology (NUST) and a final year Master's student in Big Data
Analytics. Moses joined the tobacco industry in 2004 at the Tobacco Industry
and Marketing Board (TIMB) as the IT Manager. He was responsible for setting up
a new IT department. He went on to develop key software systems that were
mission-critical to the tobacco industry. After leaving TIMB, Moses went into
full-time consultancy in 2009 and went on to develop systems at Boka Tobacco
Floors, Tian Ze Tobacco, Premier Tobacco Floors, AtlasAgri, Voedsel, and many
more.
Bruce Francis, Head of Product
Bruce began his IT business career supplying
management software to tobacco merchants through Agrarian Reform and the
Small-Scale out-grower revolution. He built a software business that supported
many of the country’s bigger merchants through radical expansion for over ten
years – these companies included Northern Tobacco, Tribac, CTP, Curverid, and
Tinorima. As these clients developed into more corporate entities, Bruce forged
a relationship with Syntegra Solutions, and expanded his horizons into corporate
retail and QSR clients whose footprint included much of the sub-Saharan African
region. Bruce has had free-lance experience and worked in the international
arena for a period of time with Kiza Solutions based out of Cincinnati, Ohio,
and consulting to predominantly American companies.

Sibs Sibanda, Head of Operations
Sibs holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Land Surveying. His experience in tech includes business development for an American-based company specializing in service-oriented architecture. As part of this role, he managed the Multichoice South Africa account. More recently he project managed Econet's augmented reality marketing campaign as part of a business that specialises in big data monetization. He has for the last couple of years been the Managing Director of Nexus Open Systems, an Oracle Gold Partner which sells and supports Oracle infrastructure to the private and public sectors. He regularly does leadership and strategy development for non-profits.
